Insurance clients of MCSI receive discounted prices on COBRA administration. All COBRA administration services for our MCSI insurance clients are available through BASIC. The services include:
- Set Up: Includes forms, toll-free support, and computer set-up of plans/rates.
- Initial Notification of COBRA Rights: Notification of all current covered employees and dependents and “newly covered” employees and dependents via First-Class mail with certificate of mailing and document archiving.
- Qualifying Event Notification: Includes certificate of mailing and all future services of billing, collecting, conversion notices, reporting, HIPAA notification and record keeping.
- Takeover of Existing COBRA Participation: Includes all future billing, collecting, reporting, etc., for each current participant at onset of administration.
- Monthly Compliance Services: Includes any rate and plan changes, unlimited toll-free support, forms and legal/legislative updates.
Please note: BASIC will require substantiation of coverage every six months. BASIC COBRA retains the two percent paid by COBRA Participant. HIPAA is included.
